Jaclyn Victor
Jaclyn Victor is a singer, songwriter and actress best known for having won the first Malaysian Idol. Almost two decades after winning Malaysian Idol, she emerged as the champion in Gegar Vaganza Season 9 and Gegar Vaganza All Stars. Today, she is not solely recognized as “an Idol Winner,” but has earned praise and accolades both in Malaysia and abroad for her powerful vocals.
Alfa Booty
Alfa Booty is a renowned composer, producer, music director and music arranger for notable Malaysian artists and local TV programs such as TV3’s Lagu Cinta Kita (Our Love Song) and RTM’s Zoom In. Nominated for a number of music awards, Alfa also serves as music director and educator for local universities.
Razin Mestica
Razin Mestica, a member of Mestica nasyid group, plays a critical role in expanding the nasyid music scene in Malaysia through his involvement with Anugerah Nasyid Malaysia (ANAM 2020) and as the President of Majlis Usahawan Nasyid Malaysia (MUNSYID Malaysia) since 2017. Razin also currently serves as a Karyawan Seni at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia.
Ana Raffali
Ana Raffali is a singer-songwriter best known for being the first female to have won all three trophies under singer, composer and lyricist for the Anugerah Juara Lagu ke-25 (Songwriting Award). After taking a break from songwriting, Ana is in the midst of completing her new album.
Chow Kam Leong
Chow Kam Leong is a prominent figure in the Malaysian music industry, known for his talents as a songwriter, composer, and singer since 1985. He is the esteemed founder of Halo Music Productions and Alternative Music, and plans to complete his 1000 songwriting project soon. Chow Kam Leong achieved a significant milestone in 1979 by winning the championship in the Malaysia National Classical Guitar Competition from 1995 to 1997, he was selected as one of the top ten Malaysian singers.
Nathan Lockup
Since 1986, Nathan has been a dynamic force in the music industry, starting as a singer before becoming a Keyboardist and Singer in 1987. In 1995, he began composing for LOCKUP, leading to their debut album in March 1996. He has since contributed to 19 albums, establishing himself as the first Malaysian Indian musician to commercialize pop music. A career highlight came in 1999-2000 when he signed with an international label, HMV Gramophone Calcutta for LOCKUP’s fourth and fifth albums. His innovative approach and dedication continue to inspire future musicians.
